- lynintx, we are all entitled to our opinions but I could not disagree with you more about how knowledgeable McCain is. Have you been listening to McCain for the last year? McCain is a great American and he desires our respect and admiration. But we can say that about a lot of great Americans.

- I totally agree. That is why the country is in so much trouble now. We vote based on simplistic assumptions and too much emotion. McCain has repeatedly shown he is not up for the job. Just look at all of the missteps he's had this last week.
Should the media stop asking questions about Sarah Palin's background and family?

- Obviously, the GOP is feeling the pressure of a poorly vetted candidate. I think their concern is that the press will find that Ms. Palin is actually not all that she has been presented to be. All political candidates running for the President and VP should be subjected to vigorous press scrutiny.
